Avisafe Concentrated Disinfectant 500ml

Specialist disinfectant for use on bird equipment

This Avisafe Concentrated Disinfectant 500ml can be used on all your Parrot’s equipment, like perches, feeding dishes and cages.

It eliminates bacteria, viruses and more. It smells lovely, doesn’t give off toxic fumes and is biodegradable. Avisafe is on Defra’s approved disinfectant list.

It can be used with your Parrot in their cage as long as there are no puddles of disinfectant left.
The dilution rates for the concentrate version is as follows:

1 part Avisafe to 100 parts water for cages, food and water containers, incubators, brooders and perches.

1:100 - 5 mls Avisafe (1 teaspoon) to 500 mls (1 pint) water.

1 part Avisafe to 50 parts water for hand-rearing implements, nest boxes and heavily soiled areas.

1:50 - 10 mls Avisafe (2 teaspoons) to 500 mls (1 pint) water. 50mls of Avisafe to 500mls of water.

Effective against Avian Flu when used at a strength of 1 part Avisafe to 10 parts water.

Effective against Coronavirus at a 1:50 dilution rate (i.e. 20mls of Avisafe to 1 litre of water).
