Here is everything you need to know about Birdland.
Where is the attraction?
Birdland is located in the Cotswolds and is easily reached from the big towns of Cheltenham, Stratford-upon-Avon and Swindon.
Which Parrot species do they have?
The pandemonium of Parrots area houses 16 species of Parrot, including Lorikeets, Golden Conures and Moluccan Cockatoos. Non Parrot species include finches, flamingos, ostriches and pheasants.
How did they start?
Birdland was founded in 1957. It’s grown into a 9 acre site with 150 trees and over 500 bird species.
What events do they have?
Every day they’re open you can feed the pelicans, penguins and flamingos and meet the keepers. There’s special events for children during school holidays and a hatchery to see all the baby Parrots.
How can I help?
You can adopt a bird and get regular updates on their progress and volunteer at the park.
Any other information I need to know?
Birdland are open every day apart from Christmas Day and tickets cost a maximum of £10.95.
