Here’s everything you need to know about Birdworld.
Where is the attraction?
Birdworld is located three miles south of Farnbrough, Surrey. It is easily accessed by road and rail.
Which Parrot species do they have?
They have Lorikeets, Macaws, Cockatoos, Conures and Amazon Parrots. All have their own aviaries where they are free to fly around. The aviary is called Parrots in Flight.
There are also penguins, toucans and other exotic birds at the park and other animal species, including fish, reindeers, ponies and donkeys.
How did they start?
Birdworld was opened in 1968 by Roy Harvey. It has continued to grow in size with an aquarium, farm and new aviaries all later additions.
What events do they have?
There is a flying display every day and a show where you can learn all about a Parrot’s behaviour and personality.
Any other information I need to know?
There are usually open every day aside from Christmas Day and Boxing Day with the maximum ticket price of £16.95.
