Find out more about Large Conure toys.

If you can’t decide which toy your Large Conure would like the best, we’ve put together this handy guide to help you choose the best one for your feathered friend.

Foraging Toys

Keep your Large Conure mentally stimulated. Hide treats inside them, then your feathered friend can work out how to get them out, either through chewing or by solving the puzzle.

Place treats in the top section of the Snack Rack, then cover it up and see if your Parrot can get them out again.

The Plaited Pleasure has loads of material for your Conure to shred, preen with and destroy.

The Treasure Hunt has loads of holes inside, where you can push treats in for your bird to find.

Cardboard and Paper Toys

Fun to shred, Parrots just love the sound they make as they tear them into smaller pieces.

Try the tightly rolled cardboard rings and tubes from the Birdie Bangles range.

                                                                                                                                                                                          Birdie Bangles

Wood and Rope Toys

Offer material for chewing and preening on.

Chewing on the wood helps your Conure to keep their beak healthy and trim. Preening on rope fibres can help prevent unwanted over preening behaviours for a companion with healthy plumage.

The Jumble Stacks is a range of colours, beads, slats and other wood pieces to explore.

The Multi Preener is waiting for your Parrot to start preening it, with all its soft cotton pieces.

Willow and Palm Toys

The Vine Ball Tree has lots of colourful vine balls that you can hide treats in and the important wood for chewing on.

Coconut and Cactus Toys

Have loads of natural fibres to keep beaks busy and entertained. Be sure to check out the..

Coconut Treasure Chest, with lots of coco fibres to forage and chew on.

Coco da Nut, which is a half coconut filled with lots of chewables.

Bird Kabob range, that are made of agave or cactus wood that Conures find irresistible to chew and shred.

Acrylic and Metal Toys

These are made for Conures that prefer a destructive playtime, with parts to spin, move around and remove.

The Super Star Foraging Toy lets your Conure indulge in their natural foraging instincts. Hide small treats inside, then let them work out if they can retrieve the treats from it.

                                                                                                                                                                                  Super Star Foraging Toy

Toy Packs

A great place to start is with a toy pack, these great value packs can work out at better than half price compared to ordering each toy separately, and usually offer a variety of toy types for you to try your Conure with.

Please Note
You’ll know your Parrot best, please choose toys that you feel are suitable for your Conure’s level of destruction. As with anything new it can take some time for your Large Conure to accept a new toy. Introduce new toys slowly. Place it some distance away from your Parrot at first, then bring it closer to them as they become more confident.

We believe in the quality of our products, but should you received a product that you feel doesn’t suit your Large Conure, we offer a 90-day money back guarantee – click here for details

Always supervise your Conure during playtime. Regularly maintain toys, especially ropes or fibres. Remove if you feel it poses a hazard to your bird.
