About this Product
Durable natural coconut toy built for foraging fun.
Inside this Coco Loco Foraging Parrot Toy your Parrot will find colourful dried leaves that make a lovely rustling sound as your beaky buddy attempts to remove them.
There’s two small holes on the side, plus two large holes hiding behind two coconut husk doors.
If your Parrot is new to foraging, then lift and move the ‘doors’ to make accessing the materials inside easier. Encourage them further by placing some tasty treats inside.
Your Parrot will have hours of fun searching for and retrieving the goodies inside, whilst it swings about, providing exercise through play. Placing the Coco Loco closer to a perch or by the cage bars will also make it easier for your feathered friend to enjoy.
For more advanced foragers, keep the doors closed, this means they have to open the doors / hold them open whilst retrieving the goodies from inside. Placing the toy away from perches, and away from the cage bars, so it moves more freely is another way to increase the difficulty.
The mentally stimulating activity of foraging keeps your clever Parrot’s mind active and can help to reduce boredom.
Use the metal pear link provided to quickly and securely fasten this Coco Loco to your Parrot’s cage or play gym stand.

Toy Safety
Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
Please remove all packaging from toys and accessories before giving to your bird, this may include silica gel sachets which are non-toxic and help ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition.
