Each of the rungs on this Pedicure Ladder for Small Birds – 9 Steps have a rough coating applied. Birds love climbing around and with a ladder it is made much easier to get to where they are going.
As your bird climbs up or along the rungs the rough surface (Ground Sea Shells and Sands) helps to keep their nails trim, preventing uncomfortable over growth and reducing the need to stress your bird by catching them in order to cut their nails.
Most birds love using rough surface to rub their beak on, this too helps to keep it trim, sharp and in good overall condition.

Toy Safety
Every Parrot is different and toys should be chosen with care to match your bird`s personality, as well as how strong and destructive they are. Many toys are made to be chewed and destroyed – that`s part of the fun – so if the toy doesn’t last as long as you expected this is probably because it wasn’t suitable in the first place.
The only toy that is 100% safe is the one that your bird never plays with. We strongly recommend close supervision, especially when introducing new or unfamiliar toys to your bird.
It is important to check toys regularly, you may need to repair or replace any which have become unsafe. Please pay particular attention to rope toys, any loose threads should be trimmed straightaway.
Please remove all packaging from toys and accessories before giving to your bird, this may include silica gel sachets which are non-toxic and help ensure your order reaches you in perfect condition.
