Daily amount of food Approx 10% of the Parrot’s body weight. E.g. African Grey Parrots / Amazon Parrots would be fed around 35g-40g of Vital Pellets per bird per day.
Feeding Instructions Your Parrot Vital Pellets are designed to make up 100% of your Parrot's diet as we have enough fruits, vegetables and berries in our recipe. However, if additional fresh fruits and vegetables are provided daily to add variety to the diet, we recommend that our mix should account for no less than 70-80% of the total intake. Parrots whose main diet is Your Parrot Vital Pellets should not be given any other vitamin or mineral supplements. Make sure your birds have enough fresh water available at all times.
Storage: To ensure that Your Parrot’s pellets stay fresh, we have used resealable bags. You can also store the pellets in an air tight container. Store in a cool place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat (+18 degrees).
